The global shipping and trading community joined together a third time to raise support for Mercy Ships, an NGO operating the world’s largest civilian hospital ship, serving those with little access to medical care.
The Mercy Ships Cargo Day Campaign raised more than $750,000 through the participation of 25 charterers, 16 shipowners, 21 shipbrokers, 2 port agents, plus 5 service companies and associations. In total, 103 cargoes were given by ship brokers and port agents while 7 address commissions were given by charterers and shipowners.
