The global shipping and trading community has joined together to raise much-needed funds for Mercy Ships, which provides free medical care for people in Africa. This year’s campaign has raised so far more than $680,000. That is all thanks to the generosity of: 25 charterers, 21 shipowners, 25 shipbrokers, 13 port agents/consulting and services.
In total, 110 cargoes have been given as well as 17 address commissions and 40 pledges. Mercy Ships is an NGO operating the world’s largest civilian hospital ships. Serving some of the poorest people in the world who simply cannot afford or have no access to medical care.
On behalf of all our volunteers and patients, Mercy Ships and the Cargo Day committees would like to thank you, our generous partners, listed below. We are so very grateful.
