Cargo Day 2024 Results - Another exeptional year !

Charterers, shipbrokers, shipowners and many more in the international shipping and trading community participated in last November’s 2024 Cargo Day.

Around 80 companies contributed generously once again to Mercy Ships annual Cargo Day. These donors serve as an inspiration to the industry, making this unique fundraising event an impacting success.

More than $2,200,000 was raised for the charity Mercy Ships. Despite challenging market conditions in 2024, the campaign maintained its upward momentum, raising $2.2 million from 83 companies, even more impressively the number of Mercy Cargoes increased by 26% and pledges by 29% compared to the previous year including 14 new additional organisations joining the movement. While the Tanker sector remains the main contributor to this initiative, contributions from the Dry Bulk sector more than doubled.
