The 2017 Geneva Cargo Day Ball Was A Success!
Thursday 18th May 2017

On the 18th of May, Mercy Ships celebrated its first Cargo Day Ball at Domaine de Penthes, Geneva. The goal was to thank all the donors who participated in the Cargo Day 2016 campaign.
164 guests were present for this special evening.

Program
We had the privilege of having Roland Decorvet, former MD Africa Mercy, now Philafrica Foods Chief Executive, and Per Westling, CEO Stena RoRo speaking. As well, thanks to a live skype call with Captain John Borrow from the Africa Mercy on location in the Port of Cotonou, we had an update on what was accomplished in the last Benin field service.

Location
The Ball took place at the Domaine de Penthes estate. It is located in one of the most beautiful neighborhood parks of Geneva which benefits from an exceptional environment with a view over Geneva’s lake and the Mont-Blanc.

Here is few quotes from our guest book.
“The Geneva Cargo Day Ball proved an evening to remember while helping raise funds for hospital ship Africa Mercy. Now attention is turning to the Cargo Day 2017 to be held on 4 October” Ian Lewis, Tradewinds
