Cargo Day 2023 Results - Record amount raised!

Once more, international shipping industry digs deep to bring hope and healing to people in sub-Saharan Africa.

Charterers, shipbrokers, owners and many more in the international shipping and trading community participated in last November’s 2023 Cargo Day.

80+ companies contributed generously once again to Mercy Ships annual Cargo Day.

These donors serve as an inspiration to the industry, making this unique fundraising event an impacting success.

More than $2,200,000 was raised for the charity Mercy Ships with 60 Mercy Cargoes,14 address commissions and 44 pledges donated in 2023. This is a record amount raised since Mercy Ships Cargo Day started in 2016. These increased results are due to the generosity of: 28 charterers, 25 shipbrokers, 29 shipowners, 4 port agents, 3 consulting and other shipping companies.
