Cargo Day 2022 Results

Once more, international shipping industry digs deep to bring hope and healing to people in sub-Saharan Africa.

Charterers, shipbrokers, owners and many more in the international shipping and trading community participated in last November’s 2022 Cargo Day.

80+ companies contributed generously once again to Mercy Ships annual Cargo Day.

These donors serve as an inspiration to the industry, making this unique fundraising event an impacting success. 

More than $2,000,000 was raised for the charity Mercy Ships with 57 Mercy Cargoes,16 address commissions and 40 pledges donated in 2022. This is a record amount raised since Mercy Ships Cargo Day started in 2016. These increased results are due to the generosity of: 30 charterers, 19 shipbrokers, 25 shipowners, 3 port agents, 3 consulting and other shipping companies.
